100 locations, 10 municipalities involved, 500 volunteers, 16,000 free guided tours.
These are the numbers of the first edition of Open House Napoli, the international architecture and design festival that returns to our city on 3 and 4 October with a new edition full of new features and surprises.
Over 150 architectural sites and routes, new itineraries through green spaces and urban creativity, events and performances, urban cycling and the OHN Kids section, with visits and workshops dedicated to children: Open House Napoli returns for its second edition, reopening the doors of the city to welcome visitors to places of extraordinary architectural interest, often inaccessible, through free guided tours.
After the experience of forced closure during the lockdown, this new edition will once again present Naples as an “open city”, to be experienced in a shared way in order to stimulate reflection on new forms of living, on urban spaces and on the centrality of architecture in the design of a polycentric and widespread city.
OHN2020 volunteers, the true soul of the event, will guide modern “urban explorers” through the architecture of a city unique in the world.
Open House is the international architecture and design festival founded in London in 1992 and now held in 47 cities worldwide on five continents: from New York to Melbourne, from Santiago de Chile to Lagos.
And this year, for the second year, also in Naples.
