AMALFI COAST
The Amalfi Coast includes 13 beautiful villages: Vietri sul Mare, famous for its fine ceramic artworks; Cetara, a small fishing village that still retains its old-world charm; Maiori, with its wide beach; Minori, once a summer residence of the Romans; Ravello, the city of music, which fascinates visitors with its breathtaking views; Scala, the oldest of the towns of the Amalfi Coast; Atrani, the smallest town in Europe. And then Amalfi, rich in history and culture, which gives its name to the entire coast; Conca dei Marini, with its Emerald Grotto; Furore, with its picturesque fjord; Praiano, where the Doges of Amalfi spent the summer; Positano, the pearl of the Amalfi Coast; and Tramonti, with its forests.
A series of panoramic bends leads visitors on a wonderful journey to discover villages set into the rock; fascinating coves and bays evoke strong emotions, as do the fjord of Furore, the Emerald Grotto and the characteristic alleys of Amalfi with its Duomo. Not to be missed is the amazing view from Ravello, a quiet town with its historic villas, including the charming Villa Cimbrone; and then Positano, with its fashion and glamour.
