NEM NAPOLI: SUSTAINABILITY AND EXCLUSIVITY IN THE GULF OF NAPLES
“Imagine a planet where people live in harmony with nature and enjoy all the benefits of cleaner, quieter and more environmentally friendly technology.
This is my concept: no mass tourism, no form of pollution.
I want to accompany you, in the most enjoyable and fastest way, as you discover the authentic and still exclusive places of my land.”
Gianpaolo Mandolese, Founder and President of NEM Napoli
The electric surfboard is one of the most interesting trends: thanks to NEM, Nautical Electric Mobility, the exclusive provider in Campania of this fascinating sports vehicle, surf enthusiasts and others will be able to enjoy sporting experiences in the Gulf of Naples and beyond, in full respect of the environment and even when there is no wind.
Thanks to its built-in batteries, the board allows you to skim the surface of the water and speed effortlessly off the shore, even in the absence of wind. One of the water sports of the moment, it is gaining popularity all over the world, attracting new enthusiasts and entertaining the most experienced riders, who, with this type of board, can train even in calm conditions or along the shores of a lake.
But when did surfing become motorised? Given its fairly recent success, we might think of it as something new, but this is not the case: made in Australia, so-called surf scooters already existed in the 1930s. Ten years later, similar models arrived in the United States, but the phenomenon of jet skis overshadowed that of electric boards. Until a few years ago, when new companies returned to the market with the aim of revolutionising the leisure side, and not only the sporting side, of the nautical sector.
