The request for originality, formulated by the most important Italian business designers and agencies, met the novelties of the Neapolitan and Campania tourist offer.
This is what emerged from the Buy Mice Online 2020 workshop day, organized by the Ediman publishing house in Milan, which took place on July 16 at the Starhotels Terminus in Naples.
The new Destination Naples brand of the Bay of Naples Finest Association took part in the workshop, a growing network that currently brings together forty partners both in the leisure tourism sector and in the organization of events, united by the idea that synergy will be the engine force of promotion of the territory.
In fact, in this phase of tourism recovery, the territory needs glue and collaboration between professionals in the sector to develop formats based on tourism demand. A request that is changing not only for the recent anti-Covid regulations, but above all for the search for novelty and for the desire to break away from the usual tours, based on a standardized Naples crystallized in clichés. The search for an unusual, eco-sustainable Naples, to be discovered and experienced in a different way is the challenge that Destination Naples has taken up.
Among the novelties presented by the new brand, Palazzo Doria d’Angri, recently subjected to a careful restyling; the motor ship Patrizia of the NLG, a vintage ferry, completely refurbished, which is proposed as the leading charter ship in the Gulf of Naples; the Complex of San Lorenzo Maggiore, which offers a walk in its archaeological area and for events the fabulous Sisto V room, once a Refectory, then the Parliament of Naples. The Antico Borgo Orefici Consortium, which connects the iconic Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro to the shops of its goldsmiths, active for 700 years with creations of all kinds, proposes itself with the itinerary “La Via dell’Oro”. Guided tours and rooms for events are the proposal of the Monumental Complex of Sant’Anna dei Lombardi, which in synergy with Treasure Hunter has carried out a fun treasure hunt in the heart of Naples. To experience Naples in all its aspects, a culinary experience is a must. Among the protagonists of this sector is SIRE Ricevimenti, one of the main Italian banqueting companies, which for over 25 years has been operating in the field of catering for events, congresses and weddings.
Among the partners of Destination Naples there is also Jonglez Edizioni, which has published the guide “Unusual and secret Naples” by Valerio Ceva Grimaldi and Maria Franchini. Feeding the traveler’s innate curiosity, this guide takes the reader to discover a Naples far from clichés.
