After her performance at the Pinacoteca Ambrosiana in Milan, Marina Abramović arrives in Naples.
Ecstasy, an exhibition promoted by Vanitas Club and curated by Casa Testori which, from September 5, will present “The Kitchen” to the public in the spaces of Castel dell’Ovo.
Homage to Saint Therese, cycle of three videos in which Marina Abramović (Belgrade, 1946) relates to the figure of Saint Teresa of Avila.
For the mother of performance art it is therefore a “return” to the Neapolitan city: here in 1974 Abramović held, at Galleria Studio Morra, the historic Rhytm 0, a performance in which the artist made herself found by visitors immobile and defenseless , in front of a table with objects of different types – including weapons – that can be used by the public at will.
